Our mission at Sound Marine is to provide the best customer service and support for our fellow boaters in the South Sound area. With some of the best technicians in the area, we are confident enough to offer a one year guarantee on all work performed. We also stock a wide variety of parts and supplies for your boat repair needs.  If we don't have what you need we can usually get it for you within 24 - 48 hours, even some of the older or hard to find items.

About Us

 

Sound Marine, Inc. was originally founded by Brett Johnson as Brett's Sound Marine in 2011.  As a respected Marine Technician of 24 years, Brett has worked from Bellingham to the Oregon Coast working on every type of boat and yacht imaginable.  

In 2016 Brett partnered with Shane Leek and changed the business name to Sound Marine, Inc.  Shane has owned and operated boats most of his life.  As a successful small business owner for over 20 years, Shane saw the opportunity to support the local marine community by partnering with Brett and starting Sound Marine.  With a current staff of three technicians, our vision is to provide reliable and timely service repairs for our customers and supply them the parts and equipment needed to stay out on the water and enjoy our beautiful Pacific NW.

Our new facility here at 1690 Marine View Dr provides us with the ability to work on all sizes of trailered boats​ as well as dock space for larger vessels.  We also partner with Hylebos and Swan Town for projects requiring hauling services and boat yard facilities.  With our mobile service, we also travel to your location in the Sound Sound area to include most marina's.
